Steven D. Ogburn aka Blade is a world famous New York graffiti artist and proud owner of the title King of Graffiti since he painted over five thousand trains with his striking letters and characters. Famous for his whole cars, during the most prolific subway era in history, he became an icon of the New York City and a hero figure for the younger generation of street artists. Photographer Martha Cooper has been an instrumental part of Blade’s notoriety as she documented many of his works which no longer exist. Today he exhibits his work internationally.
