CAP ONE
NEW YORK CITY // NEW YORK
Cap is a world famous graffiti writer who began painting in the Bronx in 1976. In 1979 he began to paint in the street and on trains. A short few years later, CAP was already considered a "King of Graffiti” and made his now infamous appearance in the legendary documentary "Style Wars". Cap is the only artist to paint live directly for the documentary with his CAP throwup. Cap's work has become the most recognized graffiti throw-up to this day. Cap is considered a true outlaw in the world of art and graffiti. He has also painted many graffiti murals in countries all over the world. Cap has collaborated in numerous projects, with brands such as Alife NYC, Frank 151 magazine, and Culture NY.
